Exhibition August 2015

Today some of our talented Day Centre children attended an exhibition of their work at the library in our nearest town, Tecuci. They all loved seeing their work on display and were all awarded with a certificate! Afterwards our lovely Irish volunteers, Laura, Meabh and Dervla treated the gang to ice-cream in the local park

Happy Valentine’s 2015!

Here at Casa Bridget, we use Valentine's Day as yet another excuse for a party and a celebration of our love for our residents! We had different races, competitions and games all modified depending on different capabilities, followed by music and dancing. We enjoyed eating sweets and home-made, heart-shaped cakes. Happy Halloween 2014

Yesterday we celebrated Halloween with a fantastic party for our residents; everybody dressed up, we danced and we ate delights such as "witches fingers" and "boiled mice"! Then we went outside to chat around the bonfire, light our pumpkins and set off Chinese lanterns! It was also Ionel's Birthday and he had a great time

Summer Camp 2014

Aisling’s School project

Crosscause volunteer Aisling Neary from MAYO, has completed the second part of her own personal project, to provide education to the young people of Anyiboboe village, Volta region, Ghana. 2 years ago Aisling completed a kindergarden and primary school for 117 children, now a beautiful new 6 classroom junior high school offers a great future

Easter 2014
