A huge thank you to a fantastic volunteer! Isobel Taylor has just spent the last 6 weeks with us and we are so sorry to see her go! Isobel got stuck in from the very first day, covering for staff holidays and bonding with the residents. In her spare time she helped out in our community work and she also set up a fantastic program in our Day Centre; teaching sex education, gender equality, domestic violence, money management and CV writing skills. All vital lifeskills that local children are generally not taught in schools or by their parents. We marked her last day with a surprise show by the residents and a surprise horse and cart trip through the village! Isobel bought much to the foundation and her positive attitude and fantastic energy will be missed by many!
